Keeping our waiting rooms and exam rooms clean through an enhanced cleaning process
Asking patients to bring only one person with them to their appointment ONLY if necessary
Asking patients to wear a mask upon entering the building
We will have limited seating in our waiting rooms (All chairs will be 6 feet apart)
We will accommodate any patient who would prefer to wait in their car and call them when the provider is ready to see them
Assessing patients for COVID-19 symptoms during the intake process
Taking the temperatures of all patients, family members, and staff before they enter the building
Limiting the number of vendors and outside visitors at both locations
Restricting business-related travel and discouraging personal travel for our staff
Asking all providers and staff, returning from locations where a state of emergency has been declared, to self-monitor for 14 days and self-quarantine for 14 days, if necessary. Northeast Atlanta providers and staff returning from any area identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a risk assessment Level 2 or 3 are required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

The physicians at Northeast Atlanta ENT are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak via the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Northside Hospital, Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The virus and protocols around COVID-19 are changing quickly and we are working to mitigate any impact on our providers, staff, and patients.
We ask all patients and their guests who have a fever, symptoms of a respiratory infection, or have been exposed to a person with Coronavirus, the flu, or any other communicable disease, to reschedule their appointments or surgeries. If you have had contact with someone who is suspected to have COVID-19, please stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days. PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO OUR OFFICE.
In addition, if you are limiting your exposure to the public, or would like to reschedule your appointment for any reason, we will be happy to do that and, if necessary, provide refills by request. If you are at all concerned that you may have a serious infectious disease, your best course of action is to seek care at your Primary Care Physician’s office or local hospital’s emergency department.
Please remember that the best way to prevent the spread of communicable disease is cleanliness and hand washing.
